Zaljubiti se u jedan grad - Evropski putnici u Beogradu 1815-1914
What was life like in Belgrade and how did the city look like in the 19th and early 20th centuries from the perspective of travellers who visited it? How did foreigners see us and what did they write about us? What were visitors' favourite dishes and which restaurants they frequented? The book was published on the occasion of the official opening of the central European celebration of the 2007 European Heritage Days. The selected texts were authored by the most famous European travel writers who either visited or passed through Belgrade. Reproductions of drawings, lithographs and photographs authored by foreigners who visited Belgrade offer a veracious depiction of the then appearance of the city.
